A Sunny Challenge!
Hi Guys
Its been awhile since I last did a Sunny Challenge and I am back this week with one. The challenge this week was to use the sketch along with the theme "Male".
I don't create male cards very often, so it was nice to take a break from the normal and do something different.
Here is the sketch for this week:
And here is the card I created from it:
I am quite pleased with the result.
Cardstock: Marina Mist, Naturals Ivory, Nautical Expedition DSP (Retired).
Ink: Early Espresso
Stamp Set: Best Dad Ever, The Open Sea (Retired for now)
Other: 1 3/4" Scallop circle punch, Sponges, Paper Trimmer, Simply Scored, Brads- Metallic, Paper Piercer.
Don't forget about the retirement list, you can view the post about it here.
Watch this space for a sneak peek card using items from the new annual catalogue which goes live 1st September!
That's It for Tonight!
Cya Later!

Great card Kathryn. Thanks for taking the time to join the Sunny challenge this week, especially when you are probably only thinking about pre-order and the new catalogues!
ReplyDeleteAll your sponging, colours & DSP make a great male's card Kathryn. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Sunny Challenges & Creations
ReplyDeleteYour card looks great the sponging on the blue really ties it into the brown anchors paper. :)
ReplyDeleteI like your male themed card Kathryn. Great colours and love the colours and the ink distressing
