Saying Goodbye to Retiring In Colors and Stamp Sets - Card 2

Hi Everyone

Welcome back to week 2 of my series to Saying Goodbye to Retiring In Colors and Stamp Sets.

This week we will be saying goodbye to Gumball Green, Baby Prints, and Express Yourself.

I chose the colour combination from the Color Coach; Gumball Green, So Saffron, Melon Mambo

This is a really cute baby card and can be changed from girl to boy, by changing the Melon Mambo to Tempting Turquoise and the ribbon to Island Indigo.

So how did I make this card?

Step 1. Cut a piece of Gumball Green cardstock in half at 14.8cm and score it half at 10.5cm and sponge the edges with Gumball Green ink; this will be your card base.

Step 2. Cut a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock to 9.2cm x 13.6cm, round the corners and sponge the edges with Melon Mambo ink.

Step 3. Next cut a piece of Very Vanilla 8.6cm x 13cm and round the corners.

Step 4. Stamp the hand prints from the Baby Prints stamp set in So Saffron and stamp the ‘Congratulations’ from Express Yourself underneath the hand prints.

Step 5. With the Essentials piercing template, pierce a straight line at the top and bottom of the Very Vanilla piece.

Step 6. Tie a knot with the Blushing Bride ¾” Chevron Ribbon above the piercing at the bottom.

Step 7. Attach the Very Vanilla piece to the Melon Mambo piece, and then attach it to the Gumball Green base with Dimensionals.
